Our Holiday Hugs program provides assistance to families in need of a little extra support during the holidays. It will gift Barton Pond families with a department/big-box store gift card (e.g. Target, Kohl’s) & a grocery store gift card for each participating student. Please sign up to donate a gift card - we will be collecting gift cards the week of December 5-9.

*If we exceed our goal with additional donations, we will use those to support families at other schools that need assistance, as well.

The Bullfrogs will be partnering with Note in the Pocket to host a clothing drive. Make sure to hold onto those gently used clothes that you clean out over our holiday break! Kids and families can drop off their donations during carpool.

Note in the Pocket in a Raleigh-based organization that provides quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love. They work directly with WCPSS to ensure that no children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school. We are collecting non-perishable canned and packaged items to be donated to the Interfaith Food Shuttle's Backpack Buddies program. You can drop off items during carpool or bus drop off, or swing by the school.

Each grade level will compete for who can bring in the most items - The winning grade will get a cookie party from Captain Cookie & the Milkman.
